We are seeking a Data Governance/Operating Model Lead to define and implement governance frameworks supporting a Microsoft Fabric environment. The role will work across business, technology, security, privacy, and operations teams to establish data ownership, access controls, data classification, life cycle management, onboarding processes, and governance standards.

Key responsibilities include defining operating models and RACI structures, embedding governance controls, supporting analytics and AI use cases, and developing repeatable processes for data onboarding, access, change, support, and retirement. You will translate governance, security, and regulatory requirements into practical operating processes and controls.

Required experience:

• Data Governance and Data Management in cloud-based data platforms
• Data ownership, stewardship, classification, lineage, metadata, and access governance
• Data life cycle, retention, and data-product concepts
• Governance for analytics, AI, and self-service reporting environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams
• GDPR, data privacy, information security, and access control principles
