Data Privacy Analyst
Contract Length: 6 months (extendable)
3 Days per week in the office

Rate: £150 - £250 p/d
Summary of PositionThe Privacy Compliance Operations and Projects team is a group of privacy professionals who work alongside lawyers to deliver key projects, as well as drive privacy compliance across the enterprise.
The Privacy Analyst has knowledge of privacy and data compliance issues and works collaboratively with lawyers and business stakeholders to manage privacy operations, deliver practical advice, enable projects and implement privacy by design across the businesses.

CORE PRIVACY OPERATIONS
As a Data Analyst, you will be working in a small team to execute the programme of workstreams required to comply with the agreed acceptable standards as defined by the business. You will work closely with Data and Privacy Ops Team, and partner with other cross functional departments including Legal, ISO, Product, Technology and Operations.
This role is an interesting opportunity for a recent graduate with some experience of compliance or proven business analyst skills.
You will work with the Privacy Operations team to deliver the following:
Timely IRR reporting
Supporting the full life cycle of DSAR requests
Ensure all assigned DSARs are completed within agreed timeframes
Ensure appropriate redactions/exemptions are applied as outlined in the Data Protection Act
Manage and maintain the DSAR log
Produce reports and information summaries on completed DSARs
Keep up to date with changes in data protection law and regulations
Taking ownership of patient issues and following problems through to resolution, where possible provide single contact resolution
Undertake any other duties which may reasonably be required, commensurate with the role, bearing in mind the developing needs and demands of the organization
Collating, updating and review of data processing activities, and mapping within OneTrust.
Carrying out data protection monitoring activities and producing process plans for the business.

Work Experience
- 1-2 years previous Data Analyst or Business Analyst Experience
- Knowledge of GDPR
- Experience in a privacy/data protection related field
- BA/BS degree in relevant field
- IAPP Certification a plus
Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge and experience of fulfilling DSAR requests
- Ability to priorities in a fast- paced organization.
- Attention to detail is a key for this role
- Ability to work independently yet also be a strong team player
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and closing actions.
- An ability to think strategically, assess risks and explain the potential consequences
- Technology savvy and capable of issue spotting privacy problems
- Strong analytical skills; able to understand and problem solve for complex issues
- Privacy knowledge and/or willingness and enthusiasm to dig into privacy issues
- Experienced in documenting and implementing procedures, controls, and guidelines
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail at all times, even with the most routine tasks.
- Strong understanding of business processes
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the processes, systems and policies
- Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills
- Bonus points for: Consulting/Project experience, Customer Service experience, legal operations experience, compliance operations experience
- Entertainment industry experience a plus
