My client an award winning and highly successful insurance firm here in Dublin city centre, is currently on the lookout for a Database Administrator to come on board and join their team. The role will provide the ideal candidate the chance to work alongside a highly successful team in providing complete database support and administration across entire business operations.
Key Responsibiities:
- Providing database support through the management of SQL Server along with SSIS operations.
- Handling general documentation along with conducting troubleshooting responsibilities on the SQL Server.
- Looking after systems backup and recovery.
- Identifying change management requirements and reviewing detailed database structures.
- Undertake performance related tasks through system optimization and tuning.
Core Experience:
- Previous experience working with DBA Servers, Oracle, or any other including databases such as MySQL or various cloud based platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
- Strong working knowkledge across SSIS/SSRS reporting.
- Hands on experience using and working with SQL Server.
- Proven experience performing database backups/restorations and user management.
