Deskside Support Analyst
£225.00 per day inside IR35 - 5 days per week in Glasgow - 3 months initially
A global managed service provider is seeking an experienced Deskside Support Engineer to work on-site for their end client in Glasgow. This is a contract opportunity for an initial 3-month period with the possibility of extension.
This role is 5 days per week in Glasgow and is deemed inside IR35.
The Role:
- Provide deskside support assistance to the client's internal users
- Incident management; support the Service Desk to ensure relevant information is logged and complex issues are escalated.
- Support project teams with technical tasks when required.
- Contribute to tasks such as office moves, cabling, asset management
- Deliver consistent and efficient support services in line with standards.
Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in 2nd Line Support, for desktop and mobile technology and applications.
- Strong technical ability in - AD, Group policy, Office 365, Windows 10,
- Ability to work effectively with other teams: Networks, 3rd line team, 3rd parties.
- ITIL foundation certificated would be an advantage.
- Customer-service focus, with a positive, 'can do'' attitude
- Able to work under pressure and on tight deadlines and take ownership of issues until completion
This is an initial 3 month contract, with potential for extension.
Start date is expected to be early July.
