Developer Support Engineer/Solution Architect
Start date: ASAP
Location: Dublin
Duration of contract: 12 months
Max pay rate: Negotiable
The Key skills are
- Experience in Enterprise Systems administration (UNIX/Linux and/or Windows Server)
- Experience in Networking (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing)
- Experience in Programming/Scripting (Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP)
- Learn and use groundbreaking technologies
- Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to our customers' individual needs
- Interact with leading technologists around the world
- Work directly with Amazon Web Service architects to help reproduce and resolve customer issues
- Leverage your extensive customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how our customers use our services
- Drive customer communication during critical events
Basic Qualifications:
- In Depth work experience in Enterprise Systems administration (UNIX/Linux and/or Windows Server)
- A good understanding of AWS Services (EC2, Elastic Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, S3, Beanstalk, and RDS)
- Strong written and spoken English language skills
- Be very strong customer focus
- Ability to juggle many tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment
- Be a self-starter who is excited about technology.
- Support/Troubleshooting experience
- Experience in Networking (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Database Administration (Oracle, SQL, MySQL)
- Experience in Programming/Scripting (Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP)
- Understanding of Virtualization Technologies
- Understanding of Cloud services
