DevOps Engineer - Contract - 6 months - €400 - €500 - Dublin- IT
Montash have been engaged by a software services company based in Dublin to secure an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong automation background.
Responsibilities:
- Work on a team of Systems Engineers supporting AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
- Scripting (BASH, Perl, Ruby, Python, etc.) and building required automation (using standard technologies such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef) and tools
- Participating on fast-paced DevOps and SysOps Engineering teams within Scrum agile processes
- Working directly with architects and developers to debug problems and solutions
- Implement cloud infrastructure designs provided by architects
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience with Scripting languages (eg: BASH, Perl, Ruby, Python) and automation tools (eg Puppet, Chef, Ansible cfengine)
- Solid experience with Cloud and virtualization based technologies Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or VMware vCloud and/or Docker
- Solid Linux experience (eg: Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) with a focus on web (Apache/Nginx), database technologies, or operating system authentication
- Experience configuring and managing virtualized environments (ie KVM, Xen, or VMWare hypervisor)
- Extensive web hosting configuration, tuning and troubleshooting experience
- Total of at least 2 years of cloud experience
