Description

Our Blue Chip Client is looking for a DevOps Engineer. Please note that this role will be inside IR35 and via an Umbrella Please note this will be fully remote during Covid/next 3 months/then c1-2 days per week near Porsmouth thereafter

Reporting to the Head of Orchestration Strategy, the Orchestration DevOps Engineer is accountable for the development of the Orchestration Solution. In this role you will effectively provide designs and solutions to fulfil current and future demands for Orchestration network solution infrastructure, product automation development, Network Assurance and Network optimisation.

The role will also include

  • Undertake DevOps and Pre-Production activities
  • Ensure security polices and technologies are in place
  • Ensure infrastructure and platforms meet product requirements
  • Help maintain a CI/CD delivery infrastructure platfor
  • Ensure infrastructure meets operational SLA's
  • Help introduction and test automation for new products and applications
  • Review inbound changes and define acceptance criteria
  • Ensure all relevant security testing is completed

Experienced technologist and leader of high performing technical teams ideally in a telecoms environment.

You will have a comprehensive understanding of complex software technologies, software development, DevOps and a good understanding of how these technologies interwork to deliver B2B telecoms products to Service Provider, Enterprise, MNO, Utilities, Transport and Public sectors. The role will be 80% DevOps/20% testing and requires good network understanding

The role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills,
