Miami Ad School is a global network of 15 advertising and design schools. Our graduates are great creative thinkers and recruited by top companies like R/GA, Facebook and Ogilvy & Mather.We have designed and are ready to develop a new multi-language website that explains the school and demonstrates all the amazing things our students are doing around the world. That’s why we need you! The new site will be similar to our existing website (www.miamiadschool.com) in size and type of content but will have a fresh new look and be based on the Drupal 8 CMS.
We are looking for someone to work with us on this initial project but there are additional projects being planned. This can be a long-term partnership.
Your responsibilities will include:
- converting wireframes, mockups, and assets into custom, responsive, mobile-friendly Drupal 8 theme
- creating and maintaining views and content types
- suggesting improvements to current design
You need to:
- have experience implementing UIs, themes and templates in Drupal
- have a thorough understanding of Drupal’s theming layer (Twig and theme override techniques)
- have extensive knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS
- have proficiency in English writing skills.
- be experienced with client-side JavaScript debugger tools
- be available to occasionally travel to Miami
