Exchange, Sophos AV, Fibre Networks, Citrix, MS Office, Windows Server, Printers, Active Directory
An opportunity has arisen for x2 Senior IT Technicians based in Bristol.
Day to day duties will include installation of server patches, deploying/maintenance of secure new application locally or via Citrix/RDS as well as monthly monitoring actives.
In addition to the more advanced services above you will also be involved in core administration such as daily, weekly & monthly backups, Ad-hoc AV scanning, providing first/second line support to users over email, phone and in person where possible providing fixes to hardware issues on desktops, printers, Servers, etc.
Please note notice this contract falls inside IR35 and therefore will require an umbrella company solution.
Key Skills
- Microsoft Office Tools
- Installation, configuration, maintenance and management of computer peripherals.
- 4 years' experience of working on an IT helpdesk
- 3 years' experience of using remote access tools
- Managing Windows Active Directory structures and processes
- Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2010 server management tools
- Sophos AV experience
- Fibre optic network and installing equipment
- Citrix management tools
- Microsoft Operating Systems - XP, Server 2003 Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2012
