Description
Harvey Nash's client in Dumfries requires an Economic Development Project Manager to join their team on an initial 12 month contract.
You will be working on end-to-end development and delivery of a variety of projects within this Public Sector organisation.
Main Duties will include:
. Managing strategic projects from inception to delivery
. Monitoring delivery to ensure performance in line with organisation standards
. Stakeholder representation
. Managing staff resources in order to undertake allocated responsibilities
. Monitoring budgets, expenditure and performance indicators
. Overseeing preparation of development briefs
Requirement:
The ideal candidate will come from a background in economic development/regeneration, managing projects from initiation to delivery. You will ideally have a technical background in engineering or architecture etc.
The role requires excellent stakeholder management and reporting abilities, skills in managing partnerships with external organisations and public bodies.
