We have excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Analyst to join our clients dedicated Cyber Security Team for a 12 month non ongoing position.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking security administration of the SATIN (Secure Australian Telecommunications) networks including LAN and Gateway environments in accordance with the Departmental
- Security Instructions and the ICT Security Manual (DSD)
- Undertaking investigations as directed and tasked.
- Carrying out ICT Security Compliance audits as necessary.
- Participating as a Security Specialist in any project work as required and as directed.
- Researching ICT security vulnerabilities as they effect the department's ICT environments.
- Participating as a subject matter expert in Threat and Risk Assessments as required.
- Liaising with vendors of software and hardware as required.
- Maintaining the currency of ICT security skill set and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Skills and experience working as an ICT Security specialist for large government or corporate clients
- Excellent liaison skills
- High level of writing and analytical skills,
- Self motivated and highly organised
- Excellent Attention to detail
