Description

Project description
The Belgian and European energy landscape is in full swing. Did you know that a leading energy company plays a crucial role in this?
As part of a prominent European transmission system operator, this company ensures the reliability and sustainability of the electricity supply in Belgium.
Side-by-side with other Contingent Workers and the company’s staff, you will play a part in building a sustainable, green, and reliable energy infrastructure that stimulates economic growth and reduces our ecological footprint.
Only together can we make the biggest impact possible! The company believes in the power of diversity: they are convinced that an inclusive and diverse work environment leads to more innovation and creativity as well as better results.

The Company is moving towards Data-centricity, i.e. Data becomes a masterpiece in its strategy execution. In the Data team, within the corporate Digital & Data department, the aim is at facilitating and driving the entire organization to leverage data as an enabler to achieve its targets (strategic ambitions, innovation or transformation themes, objectives, and regulatory compliance). The company’s mission consists in facilitating and driving the entire organization to leverage data as an enabler to achieve its targets. To realize this, the company is building a data platform. This way they make data available to all users from a unified place and offer data services to all internal customers (extract, transform, ingest, and visualize data).

The Data Platform vision is based on the one of the Data Mesh, including domain ownership, serving data as a product and the federated computational governance.
The Data Platform is organized around products of 2 types: Enabler Products delivering solutions to support the work of the end users as well as the engineers, and Data Product Teams focusing on delivering value to the business users of their domain by providing them with well curated and fit for purpose data organized around domain-based data products.

Enterprise Data Architects, together with subject matter experts, Solutions Architects and Systems Architects, design solid foundations for the Data Platform that serves the Business. They also support their product by aligning on with all respective stakeholders on technical solutions.

The company is looking for an Enterprise Data Architect who will be a member of one of the Data Product team. Supporting their product as well as the whole Enterprise Data Architecture chapter by:
• being the front runner of their product, discussing technical solutions with new initiatives in the company,
• supporting the design of Enterprise Data Architecture Blueprints,
