The Controlling department has the ambition to lead a transformation program in order to improve internal processes and reach operational excellence. This vision includes extending the current financial scope of controlling to a business controlling role, including monitoring and optimization of operational activities.
A roadmap has been defined following two axes:
1. Operational excellence:
• Consolidate knowledge inside the department via development of trainings and documentation of procedures
• Automate controlling tasks
• Improve reporting
• Develop new communication channels with the business
2. New activities:
• Set up of a performance management system
• Development of a resource allocation concept
• Implement an efficiency program
• Digitalize activities

Job description/Tasks
In collaboration with the Project manager and data governance, you’ll foster the department’s transformation with leading and contributing to the above-mentioned initiatives.
In a first stage, you will focus on performance management and efficiency.
Your tasks will include (and won’t be limited to):
• Elaborate communication documents explaining the concept of performance management, based on international best practices and experience.
• Help to identify business objectives at strategic, tactic and operational level during interactions with the business (interviews with management, workshops, …)
• Identify indicators cascade from C-level strategy to operational level of business teams
• Conduct workshop with different teams (senior to operational management) to understand process, capture issues, propose measurement indicators, and link them to improvement measures.
• With your data team (two people),
o Perform process and data analysis in order to identify key metrics, eventual bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
o Manage the development of dashboards and reporting.
• Identify possible efficiencies and cost savings.
• Transform opportunities into concrete efficiencies and support their implementation in the business.
• Monitor impact on the business indicators and costs.

Profile requirements:
• Medior project management experience (3 to 5 years) – references required
• Experience in performance management and process improvement (lean, Six Sigma,…)
• Be able to conduct workshops with senior management level
• Be familiar with influencing and convincing techniques
• Knowledge of the TSO business is an asset
• Master at least one of the national languages (FR/NL) and be fluent in English.
