I am currently working with a key client in the midlands area that are looking to grow their Electrical Design Team.They are looking for 2-3 Contract members of staff to take on long term contracts over the next few years.
The work will involve electricity and multi utility connections.

My client is a leading provider of multi-utility services to the UK construction sector with a track record of successful growth. We have ambitious plans to increase our market share and expand our operations and are now looking for electrical design professionals to join our team.
Based from our office in Solihull and Slough, the design team will be critical to the development of the business both in terms of designing utility networks for new projects and in developing strong relationships with end user customers, consultants and asset owners.
We are looking for Electrical Engineers to work on design projects in both the new build housing and commercial market sectors. You should have a strong technical background gained ideally within the utility or similar sector.
Experience of compiling project bids is essential, as is the ability to work closely with our Business Development team and Project Managers.
Gas and Water design experience would be useful however, training and support is provided for these disciplines.
Ideally you will have experience from Distribution Network Operators/regional electricity companies.
Your role will involve proactively taking our unique offer for utility infrastructure services to our customers, by managing the design through the project lifecycle to the highest quality and standards.
You must have the ability to work effectively within an established team and understand how to manage customer expectations.
To be considered for the role you should have:
Minimum HNC in an engineering discipline.
Relevant design and costing experience in the utility or similar sector.
Experience of conducting site visits and meeting with customers at all levels.
Excellent customer management skills (internal & external).
Strong interpersonal skills.
The role will be paying a flexible rate depending on your experience.
