Sopra Steria Recruitment are working in partnership with a public sector organisation to hire a Electrical/Electronic Engineer based in Bristol. Role spec below. Many thanks.
Rate: £445 per day (Role is inside of IR35)
Duration: 2 months contract (with possible extension)
Essential Experience:
- Prior experience conducting the above activities is vital and an understanding of the groups Master Equipments (Ancillaries (Internal Communications), Cables & Connectors, Electrical Distribution Equipment, LV Systems, Static Conversion Equipment and Marine Rotating Electrical Machinery) is essential.
- The position holder must have an electrical/electronic background and will have attained a HNC in electrical or electronic engineering as a minimum.
Responsibilities:
The position holder is expected to conduct the following activities:
- Define the scope of the support solution using the Support Options Matrix
- Develop contract requirements including the drafting of contract documentation
- Identify resource required for the delivery of contracts (initiation and management)
- Manage stakeholders throughout the contracting process
- Identify, record and report potential risks to contract delivery
- Manage contracts through the tender and approvals process
- Create and publish the required approvals documents (business cases, investment approvals, information notes, review notes and Spend Management System forms)
- Asses affordability of the support solution in line with available resource
- Report on contract placement progress on a weekly basis
- Monitor contract performance of live contracts putting performance recovery mechanisms in place where required
