PERTINENT EXPERIENCE
- Have a minimum 5 years of experience in Operation and Maintenance of Telecom networks.
- Have a minimum 5 years of experience of activities in project network deployment.
JOB PURPOSE:
- To manage and coordinate all sites maintenance activities related to the mechanical/electrical services in accordance with Ericsson scope, quality, and within customer expectations.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Building up and managing the site maintenance organisation to fulfil the contract requirements and obligations.
- Detailed planning of all relevant activities for the execution of the site maintenance services.
- Ensuring that subordinates within the site maintenance organization are fully aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Co-ordination of activities and site maintenance process interfaces.
- Asses, manage and monitor Service Providers for service delivery quality covering periodic maintenance such checking, measurement, maintenance, repairing, repainting and cleaning for network infrastructures, mechanical/electrical and environmental (tower, permanent shelter/CKD, M&E, power back up and fence) according to the contract.
- Monitoring and act on problems that could affect the outcome of the site maintenance services in terms of time, cost and quality.
- Representing Ericsson externally for site environment related issues.
- Participate in standby duty assignment
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:
- Day-to-day operation and management of the entire network infrastructure. Follow up all escalations and alarm reporting from FO/NOC and customer.
- Prepare all needed documents for customer. Network data-base, PMR, SLRE, SIR, EIR, daily alarm and OOS reports...etc.
- Responsible for smooth operations and implement the process to maintain MSC, BSCs and BTS and E&M - related equipment to maintain the highest network availability. And reporting the data to the customer.
- Corrective and preventive field maintenance, Prepare MDT/TCN documents and request on system for any activity on the network.
- Organizations of services to ensure performance is maintained at or above agreed quality levels, performing the KPI calculations and analysing for network performance.
- Management of changes to the network, Installation and upgrades of equipment, Prepare Hand Over documents and managing the inspection process up to on-air status. Following up until MC, PAC and FAC "certificates" issuing.
- Approval for EIR's for datacenters and GSM sites after surveying the sites to match customer standards.
- Reporting all deficiencies in Switching, data centers, exchanges such as hotspot areas, violations etc and supervise the clearance.
- Preparing PM and CM reports for data centers and switching.
- Multivendor Support.
- Preparation of monthly reports to both, Vendor and customer sides.
- Responsible for maintaining the data base for all E&M sides.
