THE ROLE:
My client, who design safety critical devices are looking for an Electronics Technical NPI Lead.
With their product now going into manufacture, you will be responsible for liaising with the Manufacturer, and answering any technical questions/queries that they have around design, production and ATE. As such you will be responsible for being the link between the manufacturer and my clients Electronic Engineers.
For this role you should have strong Electronic design knowledge (from design to manufacture) and should demonstrate excellent communication skills. Experience with NPI, Functional Test and ATE is highly desired.
Although the role is mainly based in South Cambridge, there will be the need to visit the manufacturer in Europe occasionally.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage the transfer of the electrical subsystem design and test rigs to Client's manufacturing partner
2. Interface between internal Design team, Client and Client manufacturing partner
3. Manage technical issues including manuf. non-conformances
4. Support manufacturer with development and commissioning of manufacturing test stations
5. BOM and associated alterations
6. Change control
7. Finalise interim manufacturing test documentation and support manufacturer in their adoption
