Contract Embedded Software Engineer - DublinBased in Dublin our client who work in the Medical Device industry are currently looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with experience of integrating firmware into products, ideally with knowledge of Cortex series of processors. The role will involve more work covering liaison and consultancy experience over hands on development.
To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills and experiences:
- A passionate, self-motivated, flexible and adaptive individual.
- Proficient in the C programming language.
- Experience in embedded architecture, external interfaces, product constraints, along with ability to develop architectures/features that meet these constraints while providing new value for the platform.
experience with State Machine, Controller, Timers, Logging, DSP, Embedded OS, Serial Comm. Layer, BT/USB, DAQ, Peripherals, Event Driven Programming.
- Source code development, review and maintenance. Unit and system level test and verification.
- Full life cycle development experience (Design, Implement, Test, Maintain, Iterate).
- Experience of working in a structured software environment (e.g., source control, ISO 9001 quality standards).
- Experience in commercialization of software.
- RTOS Scripting experience
- Implementing embedded algorithm in fixed point C
- DSP Experience
