Description
I currently have an Embedded Software Engineer contract role based near Southampton. Contract length is around 4 - 5 months. Rate is between £30-£35.This contract position is for the world's largest marine electronics company where products are developed for high performance marine motors.
The key skills I am looking for are:
C++
ARM7 (or ARM9)
Window's platform
Full Software Lifecycle
Desirable skills include:
LCD display screens
NMEA 2000
This role will require you to pick up the hardware that has already been developed and commence with the new product development working with C++ and ARM7. This will also require you to be able to pick up software developed in-house. You will be a member of a larger team and may be required to speak with the hardware team as well who are based abroad.
