Embedded Software Test Engineer - LONG TERM CONTRACT - Midlands
My client in the midlands is seeking a Test Engineer to work on Embedded software systems.
- Working with Embedded software systems
- Need to be able to work with normal test instruments ie DSOs and logic analysers
- Liaising with system and software architects, developers and lead test engineer.
- Preparing test scripts for manual execution, using software requirements and architectural design as inputs, including
o drafting test protocol documents and
o running test protocols on target hardware platforms - Executing test scripts written by others, including
o preparing test execution reports and
o entering defects into the issue tracking system, normally after consultation with developers,
