Description
My client, a leading ICT Company, is looking for an experienced End User Computing Architect to work onsite with one of their largest clients and set the direction for technology strategy and architecture for end user computing services and make sure they are in line with business priorities and IT technology roadmaps.
The End User Computing Architect will be responsible for gathering requirements, delivering high level and detailed designs, reviewing designs and ensuring they are in line with enterprise architecture and technical policies, preparing technical documentation, representing architecture team at various stakeholders' meetings as well as vendor management.
The EUC role will also take on a governance role at the detailed design and implementation stage of projects.
To be considered for the position, you will need to have the experience in the following areas:
- End User Computing experience in large scale distributed environment
- Experience in design and implementation of SOE, Active Directory, SCCM as well as Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems SOE (Windows XP & Windows 7)
- Experience in design of Application & Desktop Virtualization solutions - good knowledge of at least 3 of the following: Microsoft VDI, Citrix XenDesktop, VMWare View, App-V, Thin-App, XenApp, VMware ESX, Hyper-V and Citrix XenServer
- Microsoft Server Operating Systems SOE (Windows 2003 & Windows 2008)
- Relevant Microsoft, VMware, Citrix and other industry certifications
- Strong communication & documentation skills
