Engineering Manager
This rapidly growing organisation are searching for an engineering manager to be part of their journey. Their growth is now on a global scale and their engineering is what is making their global success happen. Products are built end2end with small agile teams divided into domains. There is a complete engineering culture that allows engineers across the world to thrive with daily deployments, microservices architecture and functional programming.
This person will need to:
- Inspire, lead, shape and grow a software engineering organization consisting of 3-6 teams.
- Own the delivery of a complete Engineering domain
- Continuously develop relationships between product, engineering and key stakeholders
- Influence and drive software design discussions.
- Manage product backlog and prioritise tasks across teams.
- Lead and grow team managers and in turn their teams.
- Play a key role in helping us continue attracting and retaining great engineering talent.
If you want to be part of this, you'll need to have:
- Experience leading cross functional software engineering teams in a fast paced, delivery focussed environment.
- Strong track record of delivery of influential software
- Being a Software Engineer yourself - you are still hands on enough to write code and contribute to design discussions.
- Strong people management skills.
