Description
I am looking for several experienced actuarial contractors to join a top bank based in Bristol. The rates for roles vary between £500 and £1000 per day, depending on experience. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a Solvency related project within their business.
Involvement in following areas:
Calculation of actuarial liabilities
Calculation of impact of investment market movements on profit results
Production Quarterly Group information reports
Production of Analysis of Movement
Production of annual business plan
Production of Statutory/Regulatory information
Annual and half-yearly FSA Returns
Actuarial input into Statutory Accounts
Involvement in Change projects
Implementation of Solvency II Reporting
Experience required-
Experienced qualified actuary - must have actuarial/reporting experience within Financial Services (ideally Life Insurance).
Strong Excel and analytical skills with the ability to explain financial results to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Experience of IFRS and ideally SII reporting for a large financial services entity and experience of working in a Sarbanes Oxley environment.
