Description
Our Renewable Energy client is looking for a Consultant who will be working as an Environmental Manager for the operational projects in the UK. The successful candidate will report to the Consents Manager and will be required to manage all UK operational projects. You will work closely with the other consenting team members in the UK and have interfaces to organisation.This is a 5 month freelance contract starting 15th June 2016 up until approx. 31st October 2016 with the possibility of further extensions. You will be required to work 2 - 3 days a week/7.5 hours per day. This role can be based in either the UK or Denmark.
Qualifications:
- Offshore wind farm experience, working with authorities in the UK
- To manage permits and consents for offshore works
- 3 years relevant experience
- Environmental topics in relation to offshore wind
- Management of consultants - environmental monitoring
- Good oral and communication skills
