Job Description: EP1 Data Migration Analyst
Contract: ASAP start contract to run until Nov 2024
Day Rate: £460 Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid with 2/3 days per week in Sedgefield
Position Summary: As the EP1 Data Migration Analyst, you are charged with spearheading the data migration strategy for our company's expansive EP1 Transformation, with a focus on finance-related data and additional responsibilities involving HR and SCM data when needed. Your role will play a critical part in ensuring a smooth transition to new systems and processes, which are set to go live in October 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for EP1 data migration, prioritizing finance data, while also considering supplementary datasets integral to the overall system launch, such as timesheets, expenses, procurement, and basic inventory management.
- Create, test, and obtain approval for all necessary ETL (extract, transform, load) procedures to meet the go-live deadline, handling sensitive and live data sets with the utmost confidentiality and integrity.
- Collaborate closely with the EP1 Data Governance team to identify data owners, and to educate and support these individuals, ensuring they are prepared for their roles as data owners and stewards for a successful EP1 rollout.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in data ETL activities within major projects, specifically those involving substantial data migration challenges.
- Proven background in finance transformations, with direct experience in data extraction from Sage 200c systems or data integration into MS Dynamics platforms.
