Epicor Application Developer- Camberley - Contract rate Neg Perm - £40k/£45k plus Benefits
To be the primary development Application & Application Integration resource using industry standard technologies to build application enhancements and new interfaces on our world class supply chain management system - Epicor'.
This is a technical role for a well-motivated, high calibre person who will already have a strong experience working in an Information Technology team as an application developer using .NET technologies. The typical applicant will be looking for his/her next career move, be enthusiastic to learn new skills and be highly customer focused.
Main Accountabilities
- Will be the primary development resource for Epicor business application enhancements based on business priority and functional consultant specifications.
- Integrate the Epicor to other upstream and downstream applications using the Epicor workflow based interface tool Service Connect' and integration with Mulesoft Enterprise Service Bus.
- Use the existing report generator and Epicor tools to develop required reports, management reports and KPI dashboards using Crystal Reports and Microsoft SSRS.
- Occasional use of Epicor tools such as the data migration tool.
- Work with the entire project team on implementation of Epicor upgrades including integration, testing, pilot and launch.
- Follow agreed architecture, design patterns & software development and maintenance methodologies.
Key responsibilities:
Provide the global supply chain business team with prioritised customisations to the existing Epicor application such as reports, dashboards, additional screens, logic rule changes [without changing the source code] using Epicor and Microsoft tools.
Use Epicor's modern Service Connect' workflow based interface tool to develop new interfaces for data transfer to/from Epicor as well as improving/maintaining our existing current interfaces and integration with Mulesoft ESB.
Integrate external applications and internal Epicor applications like Supplier Web Portal, Document Scanning & Workflow [DocLink] applications with Epicor using Web Services and EDI/XML.
