ETL Analyst/Opensource/PostGresSQL/Pentaho/Contract/Latvia/£350-£400

Spring Technology is recruiting for a ETL Analyst, for a Digital Finance company. It's a rapidly expanding company which is making waves in the Digital Finance space.

You will be responsible for the performance, Integrity and security of the database. You will also be part of the planning and development of the database as well as resolving issues on behalf of the Data and Analytics team.

You will be responsible for ensuring the databases have the following qualities:
*Consistent data quality
*Clearly defined data
*Maintain data security and recovery control

Key Responsibilities:
*Establishing team needs and monitoring user access and security
*Performance monitoring and manage parameters to provide rapid responses
*Mapping out the conceptual design for a planned database
*Considering both Back End organisation of data and Front End accessibility for end users
*Refining the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model
*Installing and testing new versions of the DBMS
*Maintaining Data standards
*Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary.
*Capacity planning
*Working closely with ETL developers, Data Analysts, and Architect
*Regular communication with technical, applications, and operational team.

Required Skills:
*PostgreSQL or other open source (eg MySQL)
*MongoDB or other Big Data type database would be desirable
*ETL (Pentaho)
