ETL Developer - 6Months - Wavre

Global Enterprise Partners is looking for an experienced ETL Developer for a Global Program.

The Data Warehousing Consultant will be involved in the design, implementation and development of data warehousing solutions in various domains (eg R&D, manufacturing, finance) and across various applications. You will work closely with our functional IT team members and business partners, in order to analyze the business requirements and build the needed extractions, transformations and data models. You will need an in-depth knowledge of ETL (extraction, transformation and load) and data warehousing techniques, combined with a practical understanding of business processes to develop reliable and performant data warehousing solutions, meeting business requirements at an affordable cost.

Main responsibilities cover:

- Analyzing user requests/needs and transforming them into data warehousing solutions

- Providing technological recommendations regarding those solutions

- Translating business requirements into technical design documentation

- Designing and maintaining the best solutions taking into account the business and technical requirements and the available capabilities while keeping in mind the long term data strategy

- Performing the unit testing of developed solutions

- Supporting functional and/or business users in their acceptance testing activities

- Monitoring and ensuring the optimal performance of data loads and queries.

Broad knowledge of and experience with data warehousing and underlying techniques, incl.:

- Datamodelling

- ETL development

- Data cleansing.

- Previous exposure to various landscapes and data warehousing solutions

- Strong/agile communication and conflict resolution skills

- Strong technical capabilities with a good understanding of functional/business needs

- Structured working method/disciplined

- Ability to complete your role with limited supervision

- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment is an asset.

- Fluent in English
