Description

There is an immediate need to engage the services of a specialist in desktop migrations across organisations as opposed to internal ones. The role will focus on developing a hypothesis developed from the earlier PoC and establishing a stronger certainty that the proposed approach will be able to sustain the level of transformation that is required.

The candidate must have practical experience in the following:

  • Active Directory - experience of AD tidy up activities and management of migration across OU and application of GPO. Adoption of additional UNP in forests, ADFS and associated IAM products.
  • Quest - Use of quest tooling in areas to include but not limited to AD/Security migration, Mailbox migration (Notes to Exchange), Storage migration and configuration co-existence.
  • Broader Exchange knowledge (Exchange 2010), preferably with experience of a hybrid model for O365.
  • Mail Archiving - Enterprise Vault and Native Lotus Notes (conversion from one to the other)

Experience in DLP and Mailmarshall products would also be beneficial.

In addition to the above transformation based capabilities, the ideal candidate will also have technical experience in virtual EUC technologies such as DaaS, VMWare and Citrix Xenapp and Xendesktop and their technical architectures in order to fully contribute to the programme.

In applying for this role, the candidate's experience must be current and have involved the active driving of the technologies and their use. It is expected their experience will have been built up over a period of 5-7 years at a minimum.

It would also be beneficial for the candidate to have experience of working in the insurance sector in order to establish relevance to the work being undertaken.
