Spring IT are currently looking for an Events Coordinator to join a large Financial Services Client based in Craigforth.

Duration: 6 months
Location: Craigforth
* Financial Service experience is not required, just a strong background in Corporate Events Management.*
Job Purpose:
* Develop, plan and implement allocated events and hospitality activities to assist the sales and marketing teams in building/maintaining relationships with key distributors, customers and industry influencers
* Review feedback from all activities and assess market conditions to identify and propose enhancements to our event and hospitality programmes
* Make sure each event is aligned to the business needs and priorities, delivered to the highest standards
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
* End to end delivery of allocated events and hospitality activities in partnership with external events suppliers
* Acting as ambassador and co-host of events to internal and external customer
* Proactive support of event plans, identifying shortfalls, gaps and offering solutions
* Establishment of appropriate processes for the successful and effective delivery of events
* Ongoing review and development of process and events to reflect changing/additional requirements from channel (including - invitation process/budget/communication/evaluation/delivery)
* Project Manage individual events within event calendars, including liaison with all relevant stakeholders
* On the day management of Sales and Marketing Academies and driven external events (both hospitality and seminars/workshops/market launches
* Management of the exhibition equipment and delivery of brand presence at all events
* Maintenance and updates of team events plan
* Adding value by identification and promotion of appropriate innovative event activity
* Ongoing management of internal customer relationships
* Compliance - ensure understanding of and adherence to Code of Conduct and where appropriate, compliance with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements.
Qualifications
* University level education, or qualified through relevant experience
* Event management qualification preferred
Experience
* Working with B2B distribution channels
* Project and event management
* Understanding of communication principles and techniques
* Corporate hospitality at a senior level
* Experience of managing large, complex and multi-site events
* Proven supplier manager, especially for event management
Skills
* Strong ability to focus and manage conflicting priorities and demands
* Ability to work out of office hours and weekends/evenings on regular basis
* Willingness to travel and regular requirement for away from home
* Good Communicator, both written and verbal
* Can do attitude - self motivator
