Excel/Commisions Specialist
The Role
This role sits within the WorldPay UK Finance department and is fully accountable and responsible for the on-going management of commission schemes and associated calculations within WorldPay UK.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the design and implementation of complex models in Excel, to facilitate the calculation of scheduled commission payments
Responsible for calculating, forecasting/accruals, reconciling and tracking of all commission schemes Responsible for reporting of commission remuneration and distribution of commission statements to employees
Undertake complex financial modelling and employee impact analysis on commission schemes for upcoming year, making proposals on optimum scheme designs, pay-out curves, aligned with company strategy and all defined reward principles set by the Compensation Committee
Ensure all files, models, and flows of data in and out of commission models, are fully sourced with full audit trails.
Automate and simplify all calculation steps, processes and calculations in a fully auditable manner
Be responsible for the creation of summary commission papers for approval by the Compensation Committee on a regular basis
Perform complex analysis of historical performance data to produce earnings analysis forecasts and impact of all future scheme proposals with supporting commentary.
Create robust process and tools/templates for collation of all raw data inputs for commission calculations.
Provide insight and commentary to the business and Finance Director on any trends or individual sales performance
Ability to manage difficult stakeholders and approach challenges in a logical and authoritative wayAd-hoc project work as required
