Description
Next Ventures is currently looking for a .NET Developer to join a project in Antwerp. Must be fluent in Dutch and English.
Your responsibilities on the project will be:
- Participating in the technical realization and improvement of the software modules relying on the analyses of our business analysts in-house and at customer site
- Initial development you are responsible for unit tests, bug fixes and maintenance of our .NET modules;
- Creating/adapting the necessary technical documentation following the Sopra Banking methodology.
- Independently troubleshooting technical issues, benchmarking, performance analysis and tuning of applications
You will have the following experience:
- You have a Master or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Familiar with: C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, MVC, CSS3, jQuery, XML, XSL, JavaScript, SQL and Oracle
- Have in depth knowledge of WCF; Knowledge of WIF is an advantage;
- A strong affinity with system engineering and networking is an advantage (Windows , IIS, PKI, ADFS, );
- You benefit from a working experience of at about 5 years - 10 years;
- You have expertise with logging and monitoring infrastructure
- You have expertise with troubleshooting complex OS, database, network configuration, and applications server issues
- You have a strong understanding of both Front End and Back End web technologies (HTTP, XML, CSS, etc)
- You have a good understanding on application security; authentication, authorization, cryptography, etc
- You have a good understanding of the influence architecture and design decisions; thread pools, caching policies, memory allocations, connection pooling, performance tuning, etc.
- You are self-driven, can constantly research and suggest latest technologies
- You are capable to work in a multi lingual environment, Dutch and English are important; knowledge of French is an advantage
- You work with rigour and precision, have an open mind and can work autonomously
- You have a sense of responsibility
- You are a dynamic team player
- You are a straightforward communicator.
