Job Purpose
To maintain and continuously improve the Facilities system and to provide proactive advice on Facilities matters/initiatives across the entire Leighton Buzzard site to ensure the site meets its legislative requirements. To co-ordinate Facilities Initiatives across the site and liaise with all departments and their respective employees as required.

Reports to
The Facilities Engineer/Coordinator reports to the Facilities Manager on a day to day basis and also to the Operation Director for the Sales and aftermarket organisation as required fulfilling the Key Accountabilities as listed below.

Key Accountabilities:
Support with the introduction of Facilities Management software package for the entire site
Support for ensuring regulatory and legislative compliance in all aspects of business operations
Liaise with service providers and subcontractor and ensuring competence.
introducing new initiatives for business improvement
writing business cases for submission to the board
Introducing asset register for entire site
Administrator for facilities helpdesk
Support service scheduling for entire site.

Qualifications required -
NEBOSH
BIFM Part 1
IOSH Managing Safety

Experience required -
*Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is a necessity
*Mechanical and Electrical experience
*Building Fabric maintenance.
*Knowledge of Auto-cad
*Introducing CAFM
*Project Management
*Environmental management
*Energy management.
