Description
Qualified Accountant and Project Manager required by financial services organisation based in City of London. This company is currently undergoing a high profile programme of Finance Change to manage regulatory and accounting standards.
The Project Manager will take responsibility for the following:
Initiating, planning and delivering Finance aspects of the projects including the setting up of governance, managing scope; driving the delivery of systems change and process enhancements and managing relationships within the global Finance business community.
Suitable candidates will be qualified accountants (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) from a background in Group Finance with previous experience of running global process re-engineering projects within a global banking/financial services environment. They must demonstrate excellent core project management skills with a proven ability to deliver to timescales. Strong organisational, negotiation and influencing skills are essential, as is a high level of motivation and a willingness to 'to what it takes'.
