Description
Bristol: Finance Control Manager - up to £500.00 per day. EA Change Groups' Bristol based Banking client urgently requires a motivated and experienced Finance control manager to join them on a contract basis.
Responsibilities, accountability and deliverables
- Maintenance and control of the bank's Non Personal Accounts (NPAs).
- User Access Management of a number of systems and databases.
- A large number of reconciliations which perform a check between the data produced from various source systems to the balances reported on Regional NPAs, including settlement and investigation of outstanding balances.
- SAP Journal processing for various Business Units in an agency capacity.
- Processing of SAP Journals of inter- system and money transmission settlements to support external settlement processes for Card & Loan Services within FBS.
- Settlement and reconciliation processes related to the delivery/collection of cash to the branch network.
- Asses and adjust the operations of the team to support change projects
Experience Required
- Strong people management skills
- Able to develop expert understanding of relevant financial systems and processes
- Planning, organisation and prioritisation
- Financial control experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Likely to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or have significant equivalent relevant experience
- Ability to cope with and implement change
