My client, a leading bank in Bristol require a Finance Manager. The position for a finance manager as come about in order to support the financial management of an investment portfolio for a division of the bank: the customers Products and marketing division.

CONTRACT: 4 MONTHS
Essential Requirements:
- Business Partnering - Ability and experience of positively engaging with a number of stakeholders (from executive level to project managers) to help them understand, manage and interpret their financial information; Costs, Benefits and Income.
- Communication - Ability and experience of communicating clearly and concisely with an ability to balance this with clear written communication; knowing when to speak face to face, phone or engage in e-mail communication is important.
- Assessment - Ability to assimilate information quickly, understand, prioritise and resolve key issues is important to help manage workloads.
- Problem solving/critical assessment/Objectivity - Supportive but ability to challenge yet ensuring the job gets done.
- Prepare financial presentations/reporting packs/financial summaries
- Flexibility - ability to work across multiple projects/with multiple stakeholders/multiple functions. Experience/Knowledge:
- Investment & Project Reporting - both costs and income/across multiple projects & portfolios.
- Cost & Benefit Tracking - at a detailed level.
- Business case preparation - working across multiple functions
- Financial Management
- Spreadsheet/modelling
- Knowledge of SAP/OFA/Financial budgeting & forecasting systems an advantage
