Description
A leading Financial Services company based in Edinburgh are looking for a Finance Manager to join their Financial and Regulatory Control team.
Your role will focus on developing and/or modifying a flexible solution to provide the capability to deliver robust, repeatable, effective exercises in response to Regulator requests. Specifically, to interpret rules, propose and document interpretation, identify, prioritise and source data gaps and run a recalculation of RWAs under potential, hypothetical approaches that ultimately can be attested to.
Essential Capabilities:
- Qualified Accountant.
- Technical background with knowledge of prudential regulatory rules, Credit Risk, Counter Party Credit Risk and CVA charge highly desirable.
- Strong system skill set, (particularly Excel and Access and track record of developing solutions to deliver specific requirements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders across Finance, Risk and IT;
- Ability to work independently and deliver under short and challenging timescales
Desirable Skills, Experience and qualifications:
- Experience in using Moodys Ray and SAP software
- Lending & Trading product knowledge
- Experience of undertaking Quantitative Impact Studies
