My client a leading Insurance firm in the city has an immediate requirement for a Finance manager with Strong external reporting experience to join their highly establish team.
Reporting directly into the Head of External reporting the chosen Finance manager will be responsible for delivering the following:
- Full year and half year financial statements/Analyst pack
- Quarterly interim management statements
- Investor presentations
- Ad-hoc public financial disclosure
- IFRS and Embedded value reporting
- UK and US listed environment
For each of these cycles, the role of the External Reporting team is to provide value add analysis and insight into the results of operations of our businesses and to communicate key messages to management and internal stakeholders which is used to inform the messages to our external stakeholders. The team works closely with a number of key stakeholders including the Group Chief Accounting Officer, Investor Relations, Media Relations, Group Finance and Regional teams. Regular reporting is also provided to the Group Executive Committee, Disclosure and Audit Committee.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant or equivalent, with a strong track record gained in either Insurance or financial services. You will have previous experience having managed a team and will have strong external reporting experience. Strong stakeholder relation skills teamed with a desire for delivery.
