Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Modeller with our public-sector client for a 3 months contract £400 - £550 per day based in Edinburgh.
In this role, you will be responsible to develop financial model which will inform options analysis, budgets and funding needs of the programme.
Main duties:
- Development of the model
- Business Partnering
- Creating forecast and scenario plans
- Financial Reporting
Essential Skills:
- An in-depth understanding of financial modelling and a working knowledge of accountancy
- Experience of designing, building and populating financial models including analysis of historic trends
- Good numeric skills and advanced Excel skills
- Able to plan, organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines
- The ability to work as part of a team, sharing information and communicating with both internal and external contacts
- Ability to analysis complex information including numerical analysis, present key conclusions and withstand challenge from internal and external audiences
- Must already have Disclosure Scotland Certificate and Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance will be required.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of working in public sector
- Experience of setting future pricing strategies
- Working knowledge commercially available financial modelling packages
