We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and ambitious financial services client in Manchester. They require a Finance focused Project Manager to join them for a minimum of 6 months. The PM must be experienced in Forecasting, Supply Chain, Platform Finance or similar.

Skills Expected:
- Strong delivery focus
- Experienced in one or more of - Forecasting, Supply Chain or Platform Finance
- Ability to manage a large portfolio of Mandatory, regulatory and GSR projects.
- Data Warehousing experience
- Financial Services experience expected
The Role:
The Group Datawarehouse (GDW) platform is responsible for both the delivery of projects and the support of existing GDW and Ab Initio applications. The GDW is the strategic and largest platform for data warehousing in the Group, where customer, product and associated transaction data is held and managed centrally for consumption by a number of key Business units.
The successful applicant for this role should have project delivery experience as they will be responsible for helping to manage a large portfolio of Mandatory, regulatory and GSR projects.
However, the main focus of the role is concerned with the operational support of the platform. This will involve managing a small specialist team involved in the following activities:-
Partner relationship management
Platform finance
Quarterly forecasting
Supply and demand returns
You will be expected to have experience in at least 1 of these areas as well as the above expected skills.
