Finance Risk Manager/£550 per day/West London
Finance Risk Manager with broad experience of financial risk across a large scale, multinational matric organisation wanted by one of the world's leading and most recognised organisation to support on Risk within Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash and Tax.
The Finance Risk Manager will face off to senior vice presidents within the business and as such will require candidates to have solid communication and experience working with senior level stakeholders.
Finance Risk Manager will be supporting global process owners to identify asses risk and thereafter support on the development and implementation of actions to ensure risk is mitigation as much as possible.
Finance Risk Manager will require candidates who have exposure of Financial Audit, Risk and Compliance within a large scale organisation. Finance Risk Manager must have experience with SOX and ideally have a background of working for the Big4
FINANCE RISK MANAGER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with relevant Global Process Owner team to identify risks and help with recommending appropriate mitigating controls in identified opportunities to transform processes (implementation of new tools, process convergence, standardization and productivity improvement) to deliver tangible benefits to the business.
Partner with relevant Global Process Owner to ensure adequate risk mitigation plans are developed for key change projects. Ensure an end to end process perspective is applied to ensure people capability & capacity, organizational structure and system resource limitations are adequately risk assessed for process change.
Be the single point of contact for the Global Process Owner team for risk identification and assessment, process and control design issues.
Understand inherent and emerging risks in proposed finance processes and change programs and ensure that process risks are identified, mitigated, controlled and reported appropriately.
Interact with key process stakeholders to understand current and emerging business requirements - appreciate risks to implementation and ownership of proposed controls
Review relevant policies/SOPs for the newly designed processes to ensure process risks and controls are sufficiently documented.
Provide risk & compliance inputs as part of project team for large process design projects to support major business change
Work with the Global Process Owner team to develop appropriate risk and control activities, deliverables and toll gate criteria for Global Process Owner change projects, and continually assess and develop their effectiveness.
I MUST stress in order to be considered for this role candidates must have experience of Finance Risk Management in a large scale, Matrix organisation.
This is a contract role for an initial period of 6 months offering a daily rate up to £550 based in West London.
