Job Title: Financial AccountantEmployer: NHS Acute Trust

Contract: 3-6 months
My NHS Client based in London is current looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team for 3-6 months.
You will be supporting the Head of Financial Accounts leading up to a key period of the Financial Calendar.
Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Day to day management of the Financial Services and Financial Accounting functions Preparation of timetable and co-ordination of Year End Close down process
- production of the Trust's monthly and quarterly financial returns and Annual Financial Statements
- leading on liaison with audit
- managed the 'Agreements of Balances' process
- Analyse transactions
- Act as main point of contact for internal and external audit queries.
- Management of junior accountants
Essential skills and experience:
- NHS experience
- Minimum 3 years NHS Year End experience
- CCAB part qualified
- Good communication skills
Rate is negotiable and will be determined based on the quality and experience of the successful applicant.
