Financial Analyst (12 Month Contract) - £32k - OldhamMy multinational client is currently recruiting for a 9-12 month fixed-term contract Financial Analyst to join their team in Oldham. The role will include the following:
Controlling and managing Sales deductions.
*Tetra, IAMS & Eukanuba
*Weekly summaries
*Overseeing of logs and input
*Record invoices against logs
*Monthly meetings / calls with sales team
*Assisting sales team with queries
Controlling and Managing Marketing invoices
*Check correctly recorded in marketing logs
*Reconcile marketing logs to SAP
*Process accruals and prepayments
*Prepare monthly summaries for management
*Support in preparation of AOP and quarterly Revs
Month end
*BW Upload of sales deductions, returns provision, royalties and freight
*Reconciliation of sales deductions logs to GL
*Prepayments
*SAP to BW &EIS recon
*Manual Journals
*EITF Calc
*Negative Margins
*Various monthly upload to EIS
*BFC net sales
*Month end Customer and Product Profitability reports
*GE Sales Dilution
*Provision for credit and bad debt
*Maintain customer terms
*Prepare monthly accruals and reconciliations for all customer deductions
*Support in preparation of AOP and quarterly Revs
Skills:
*To provide accurate information on all aspects of a customer and product profitability.
*To control sales deductions for all Pet divisions.
*To provide accurate analysis of Net Sales and Marketing spend.
*To support the Finance team in providing timely and accurate reporting.
*To become a super user of reporting tools, specifically BW and EIS.
*Carry out ad hoc duties as may be reasonably required.
