Financial analyst/planning Manager
we are currently looking for a contract to become part of the IT Performance Management team, which does budgets/forecasts/reports for the IT department of 500 staff, serving Front Office, Back Office, Trading and Risk executives.
The initial job at hand will be to
(1) Drive a major replanning exercise prompted by business variances, at the same time improving drastically the quality of the budget and forecast assumptions and drivers
(2) Translate the outcome of this exercise into 2012 forecast, long term plans
(3) Support the team in coaching the 12 key IT managers to do meaningful monthly budget follow-up and operational corrections ('performance management')
Next to this immediate tasks there are a number of related and follow-on projects which may prompt an extension of contract.
Skills/qualifications/Experienece:
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, preferably ex-management consultant or ex-controller
- management or leadership experience
- advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with the cost base of IT divisions
- knowledge of project management and portfolio management software
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified.
- Previous business partnership experience
