DESCRIPTIONThe Java and Flex Developer will develop software solutions and work with people to extract and document system requirements. Will assist in a transition from Flex to Java. Will be producing new applications as well as extending and enhancing existing applications. Develop web interfaces using a variety of languages including Adobe FLEX, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Elicit requirements from technical staff for administrative functions on existing products and from the business for small systems. The ability to effectively communicate and work with clients, team members and other technical support teams is critical.
Qualifications
- User interface development will require the ability to understand use cases and be able to develop interfaces that fully implements the use cases.
- Familiarity with the development of wire frame prototypes to elicit user experience requirements is required.
- Ability to write test cases based on user interactions is preferred.
- User requirements will be documented using a UML based methodology focused on use cases and process models. Ability to understand and produce UML design models is required.
- Understand requirements based on use cases, model requirements, process flows, and sequence diagrams from the model.
- jQuery JavaScript library will be utilized and experience with it must be demonstrable. All services are implemented using the SOAP protocol.
- Experience with Adobe FLEX, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a must.
