SAP FPSL Systems Engineer | CHF 1000 Day Rate | Home Office | English Speaking

Darwin Recruitment has a new vacancy at one of our clients located in Switzerland where we are looking to hire a SAP FPSL Reliability Engineer to start as soon as possible.

General Conditions:
  • Home Office is OK: Ideally from UK, Switzerland, Germany or Netherlands
  • Contract type: consultant / contractor / employed freelancer
  • Duration: 12 months + extensions
  • Start date: February 2024 / ASAP
  • All-Inc Daily Rate: €


Your Main Tasks:
  • Develop, deploy, and uphold solutions that ensure the high availability and dependability of SAP HANA systems.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to guarantee maximum operational time and consistent performance for SAP HANA databases and the SAP FPSL product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fine-tune configurations, troubleshoot issues, and address operational risks.
  • Monitor the well-being of systems, scrutinize performance metrics, and institute proactive measures to avert downtime and performance decline.
  • Perform routine assessments of system performance to enhance resource utilization, resulting in an optimized cloud cost structure.
  • Address and resolve incidents promptly, including conducting root cause analyses and steering the implementation of corrective measures.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in SAP HANA and standard methodologies to continually enhance system reliability.
  • Contribute to the formulation and testing of our plans for disaster recovery and business continuity.


Requirements
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of expertise in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
  • Exceptional aptitude for problem-solving, demonstrating the capability to address intricate issues effectively
  • Extensive background in the administration, configuration, and fine-tuning of SAP HANA
  • Additional advantageous experience in SAP FPSL product configuration, tuning, and operations
  • Proficient in devising and implementing solutions that ensure the high availability of SAP HANA systems
  • Robust comprehension of database principles, SQL, and fundamental data management concepts
  • Proven track record with cloud platforms, virtualization, and containerization technologies
  • Effective collaboration skills for seamless interaction with multifunctional teams, both in written and verbal communication
  • Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools utilized for system maintenance and monitoring
