Project description
The Belgian and European energy landscape is in full swing. Did you know that a leading energy company plays a crucial role in this?
As part of a prominent European transmission system operator, this company ensures the reliability and sustainability of the electricity supply in Belgium.
Side-by-side with other Contingent Workers and the company’s staff, you will play a part in building a sustainable, green, and reliable energy infrastructure that stimulates economic growth and reduces our ecological footprint.
Only together can we make the biggest impact possible! The company believes in the power of diversity: they are convinced that an inclusive and diverse work environment leads to more innovation and creativity as well as better results.

Job description/Tasks
You manage, under the supervision of the Asset Data Operations Team Lead, the reference data for all of the company (TranGIS) in which geographical locations and the electrical functions of the grid are referenced, as well as all links between these data and their life cycle.
Your main task is to insert new grid configurations into the database based on the content of infrastructure projects.
• Drawing the geographical as-built model (tranGIS) of the underground connections (drawing at scale 1:10,000 and more accurate). This includes new connections and adjustments after cable relocations and repairs.
• Input of (geographic) data related to the terrains and buildings.
This is done in close collaboration with the Infrastructure Project Leader and based on the delivered documents (e.g. The project note, scenario, construction plans, as-built plans...). You follow up the data delivery yourself.
You continuously follow up the evolution of your projects in order to plan your own work and provide your stakeholders with the timely input. You permanently take care of your projects up to and including the acceptance and approval of the as built design.
You are an expert in handling or organizing data in an operational context with the aim of improving the overall data quality.

Profile requirements:
• You have experience with the use of databases.
• You have a thorough knowledge of Microstation and/or Autocad.
• You are organized, quality-driven and customer-oriented.
• You are a good communicator and you have good interpersonal skills.
• You have a good team spirit and you are able to support the other team members when necessary.
• You work autonomously and accept your responsibilities.
• You have technical knowledge of electrical installations on the grid.
• You have a good knowledge of FR/NL/ENG.
Additional requirements: Please note that candidates who do not provide key skills or keywords listed in the job requirements in their CV will not be selected, as it will be assumed that the candidate does not have knowledge in this area.
