Automation & Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) – Antwerp, Belgium

Location: Antwerp, Belgium (Hybrid / On-site)
Start: November 2026 / Flexible
Duration: 6–12 months
Workload: Full-time
Rate: Negotiable

Project Description
We are looking for experienced freelance Automation & Electrical Engineers to support an industrial modernisation programme in the Antwerp region.
The project focuses on upgrading production equipment, modernising PLC and SCADA systems, integrating electrical control systems and supporting commissioning activities within an operational industrial facility.

Technical Requirements
  • Siemens S7 / TIA Portal, PCS7, Beckhoff or Rockwell
  • PLC, HMI, SCADA and DCS development
  • EPLAN P8 and electrical engineering
  • PROFINET, EtherCAT, OPC UA
  • Motor drives, instrumentation and control systems
  • FAT/SAT, troubleshooting and commissioning
Your Profile

  • 5+ years of relevant industrial engineering experience
  • Previous freelance project experience
  • English required; Dutch advantageous
  • Able to work on-site in the Antwerp region
