Description

My Automotive customer is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Software Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team within the Embedded Software cluster. As an Embedded Software Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in integrating various AUTOSAR-defined modules to achieve a seamless, integrated release. Your primary responsibility will be to merge and harmonize Basic Software (BSW) packages with Application Software (ASW) within an inverter software development project.


Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with ESW development team to ensure the successful integration of AUTOSAR modules. Integrate BSW packages with ASW to create a unified ESW release.
- Utilize AUTOSAR integration tool for efficient integration and configuration.
- Perform configuration for RTE/OS and other BSW modules
- Employ problem-solving skills to resolve software integration issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Conduct testing and validation of integrated ESW components to ensure reliability and functionality.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to software integration processes and best practices.


Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent through proven experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development for automotive applications.
- Expertise in AUTOSAR architecture, standards, and methodologies for embedded, real-time ECUs is a must-have. Must have knowledge of configuration and implementation of various SW BSW modules
- (Com /Memory/Watchdog/ IO/ Diagnostic Stack etc.) + knowledge of configuration and implementation MCAL drivers (DIO/ADC/I2C/EEPROM/PWM/CAN/LIN etc.)
- Good understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and concepts - BSW, RTE and SWC.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and experience with embedded software development tools and methodologies
- Thorough knowledge regarding usage of Linker files
- Debugging experience with iSystem/Lauterbach debuggers
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and familiarity with hardware interfaces and communication protocols.
- Usage of CANape, CANoe, ASAP2, Hightec compiler tools is essential in building SW. C4K tool experience is a strong plus
- Familiarity with inverter software development is a plus
- Excellent problem solving ability, analytical, communication and debugging skills
