Description
For my largest client in the infrastructure sector (rail vehicles), I am currently looking for an experienced Overhead Catenary System (OCS) Supervisor (m/f/d). In this role, you will take responsibility for the technical supervision and coordination of overhead line installation activities in an international environment. You will ensure that poles, wires, and tensioning systems are installed in strict compliance with quality and safety standards. Thanks to your extensive experience in railway electrification and your assertiveness, you will manage subcontractors on site and ensure smooth project execution.

Position: OCS Supervisor (m/f/d)
Start Date: 01/07/2026 (flexible upon agreement)
Workload: Full-time
Duration: Approx. 12 months with option for extension
Location: Egypt / Cairo
Ihre Aufgaben
- Active coordination of all construction site activities and execution of site inspections
- Technical supervision of installation works related to poles, cantilevers, wires, and tensioning systems
- Management of installation crews and coordination of subcontractors on site
- Cross-functional coordination with trackwork and civil engineering teams to ensure smooth operations
- Responsibility for preparing as-built documentation and daily reporting to project management
- Responsibility for material management and verification of material availability
- Implementation and enforcement of EHS guidelines on site
Ihr Profil
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in OCS installation
- Strong knowledge of geometry adjustment and tolerances for HSR overhead line systems
- Confident handling of state-owned companies and handover procedures
- High willingness to travel
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage
